Mike Wolfe is a career collector who is featured on the History Channel show American Pickers. He has been collecting, or "picking", from the age of four and since then has had a keen interest in finding valuable items. One of his hobbies is motorcycle riding, so naturally it's one of his favorite items for collecting and selling. A couple of his other hobbies include country music and riding scooters.http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mike-Wolfe-American-Picker/113596475334083#!/pages/Mike-Wolfe-American-Picker/113596475334083?v=info
Mike was born in Bettendorf, Iowa, where he collected antique bicycles and raced competitively in his spare time. This interest led him to open a bicycle repair shop before starting to collect and sell items full time. Through the store, Mike began getting regular information about vintage bicycles that he would buy and sell for more money. Once he began marketing rare scooters and motorcycles he learned how to make enough profit to earn a living off collectible items.http://www.antiquearchaeology.com/mikes_story.html
Mike Wolfe has a large selection of rare bicycles and motorcycles, as well as spare parts such as tires, engines, and frames. Some of the items he sells or has sold through his shop include an 1880s Tricycle, a 1912 Harley Davidson, and a 1964 Vespa. Mike says his "holy grail" is any pre-1915 Blackhawk or Hornecker Torpedo motorcycle; he says for anyone who finds one to "call me. I’ll be there. ‘Nuff said."http://www.antiquearchaeology.com/mikes_bikes.php?page=1
